We are a small family run business in the Nottingham, United Kingdom area. We have been fixing computers since the mid 1990`s, but only began as a business in 2003. We have steadily built up a following of regular clients over the years, who have always remained loyal.
Our Promises to you:
We were always the very first computer repair business who went "the extra mile" for our clients. We always spent many hours recovering or copying personal documents from our customers computers, just so we knew they were all safely backed up, before we undertook any work that might put them at risk, such as removing files or the operating system etc. We were also aware that there was no point working on a computer that was suffering from a malicious software infection at the same time it needed something else doing. That`s why every computer brought to us, under our "Standard Fix" repair, is automatically subjected to a malicious software scan. We are also aware, a piece of hardware could be failing or causing problems in the background. Just to make sure we get things right the first time, we automatically perform a full hardware diagnostics check on all computers in for repair, under the "Standard Fix" scheme. Why can`t we perform this service on all computers? Simply because the idea of the "Quick Fix" scheme is to cover very minor repairs that can be dealt with fully within the 30 minute fixed period. Performing any of these additional services would take us well over that time limit. The "Quick Fix" service was designed to cover a very quick repair and to provide a more reasonable, lesser charge than our normal labour fee. We invested and still do invest, large sums of money yearly into providing both hardware and software diagnostics tools to help track down that awkward piece of hardware, all at no extra cost to you!
Our Price Structure:
We created our unique price structure out of fairness to those who bring their computers to us and then collect them after. We believe that those clients who do this should pay less than those who have us visit them and in a lot of cases end up collecting their machine, bringing it back here, fixing it and then returning it and setting it up afterwards. The "Quick Fix" scheme also allows us to administer a smaller, fairer charge, instead of the full fixed fee labour cost of £25. Initially, we charged the same price to everyone, but on reflection, this seems a fairer way of doing things. Of course, we appreciate not everyone has the transport, or is always in a position to bring their computers, that`s why the initial call out fee is simply £10, which sometimes doubles up as the complete cost if it can be fixed there and then, or is then added to the final bill if the computer is collected, fixed and delivered and set up. We think £10 extra, a small price to pay in addition for the extra services.
Why are our prices so low:
You`ve noticed? We have always kept our prices low, firstly due to not having a High Street business premises where we have to pay expensive rates, employ staff and keep a large ammount of stock. All components, other than those that more commonly fail, are ordered as required, as our new computers are only built to order.Secondly, we operate entirely from home, with a regular clientelle, we still gain new customers fairly often. We don`t turn over enough money to warrant paying VAT, so we don`t add it separately onto your final bill. All in all, we can afford to keep our prices down, but we will still lower our prices to match the competition, if we can be shown another company that is performing the same service at a lower cost. Please do take the time to go through the entire website and learn more about us and what we do. We are sure we can help everyone. You can always contact us anytime, whether by online contact through this site, text messaging the mobile or giving us a ring. Sometimes, when we are busy or out at a job, the phones are on answer. We will always get back to you if you leave us a message. Thank You.
